Diary of a CEO: A Day in the Life of a Self-Made Artist and Businesswoman
Today was another whirlwind day in the life of an independent woman wearing many hats!
I recorded three videos—two live acoustic performances featuring a brand-new song, and an educational video that I hope will inspire and inform my audience.
On top of that, I spent time in the studio recording vocals for a new track that I can’t wait to share with you all.
The behind-the-scenes work doesn’t stop there. I managed every detail—setting up the lighting to create the perfect mood, adjusting sound for the clearest quality, doing my own makeup, and choosing the right costumes.
It’s a full-on production, but this is the life I’ve chosen: a life of independence, creativity, and relentless dedication.
Being a CEO and running my own record label means I juggle multiple roles—entrepreneur, artist, producer, and marketer—all by myself. I don’t have a team to lean on; I rely solely on my skills, passion, and perseverance.
Weekends? They’re a thing that never existed for me as e there’s always been work to do! I don’t get paid big bucks or take shortcuts—my work is relentless, driven by my love for music and my desire to create something authentic and meaningful. I have three jobs to support my music business and often it’s not enough financially.
This journey isn’t easy, but it’s incredibly rewarding.
Every video, every song, every project is a testament to my independence and resilience. I do it all because I believe in my art and in myself. This is my legacy.
